here it is apart, didn't take the powertube off, but that's not important
when you reassemble it, make sure to push the bolt forward, if you have it all the way back, it will not fire

also, put the backblock on correctly XD

yeah, it's obviously based off the automag design. the difference is that instead of having an on/off, it uses the reg's slow recharge rate to reset the bolt

I think Stripes original pictures are better, but here are a few pictures of the finished product, I kind of said screw it to the inside too... I'm still brainstorming ideas for that though.

I also painted the indent on the front sight with some bright green paint. I think it works well for what it is.

It wasn't all that labor intensive, just a bit of waiting really. I think I got it to where it was in a couple hours. I also polished the internals a little, although I didn't have any real polish, just very fine grit sandpaper.

I used what I believe is the same thing as the Aircraft Stripper. Ace Hardware didn't have it, so I looked for a similar product. I picked up Ace's brand of "Stripper, Extra Strength".

I sprayed it on, let it sit, rinsed it off and scraped the paint with a plastic scraper. I had to do multiple coats, probably 4 or 5 total for some of the places, but there is still a fair amount in the can. If anyone in Arizona has one of these and needs it stripped they're welcome to my can.

yea on the powder coated ones. it seems from the pics that the backblock part is just raw underneath though.

I just took mine out for some outlaw with my stepson. Got close to a foot of snow and 26* outside. I got to say it performed very nice for these conditions. The only issue was that the paintballs began to freeze.
Was able to adjust mine down to 280's. My Core ZX wich my boy used did not function well at all in the cold.
btwmine came in anno'd blue.

Oh wow! That is -very- automag-like! I think I can definitely handle that one.

Thanks so much! =)
