Phantom Dueling

So this past Saturday was my grandmas birthday party and all of my family went out to my dads house in the country. Me and my uncle got into a debate and started talking smack so in good fun I asked him to a duel. I went inside and got my VSC and Micro dropout phantom and two masks and proceeded to the dueling grounds. The rules were simple back to back, ten paces, turn and shoot, and you only get one shot. So the first round was a bust, he turns and shoots and miss' and I get a horrible roll out through a .679 insert with marbalizer. So my uncle wanted to up the ante by suggesting we have 10 balls each. So I said sure. After ten paces my uncle turns and shoots like a madman running back and forth. I stayed in place and timed my shots. He missed all 10 and came close with maybe 2. Me on the otherhand hit him 5 out of 10 while he was running around shooting. The roar of laughter was hysterical from the rest of my family watching from a safe distance. It was really fun and was good entertainment for the evening. Anyone else ever have paintball duels?

Yeah, quick draw is tough with closed bolt markers. It's funny watching people turn and draw so fast the ball flips out of the barrel first. Automag pistols work well. I think someone around here (at least one) has a set of dueling markers.

I've been wanting to make a set like over-grown goblins since we had an AO goblin duel at Camp Pendleton a couple of years back. The goblins were a bit of a stretch for everyone to master right off and we turned to mag pistols (go figure). Whee McGee and PK5 had the form down, but I can't remember who actually won. It was fun. We end up a lot closer than 20 paces though.

I seem to remember a pair of matching pirate stocked dueling PGP's in the BST a year or more ago.

I'd count on my PGP in a one shot duel any day.

I'm thinking a pmi-something with no top feed tube, a locking bolt, and no pump arm.

Some one has a single dueling PG up for sale. K-framed, single shot, nickel plate, quite the sexy beast.

That's a fun variation. I had to just watch the last one at our field, no dodging allowed though.

I missed the PG in the BSTs yesterday...
