KEE/JT/Empire releasing $120 magfed blowback- DL9

Ha not that bad. I'd probably run that. My recommendation would be to get the tpx mag well adapter ASAP for this

One question: Is that feedneck removable?

It is, but the squared-off block it attaches to is molded into the body.
The gun does not appear to come with a plate or cap to block off the port.

Dang. It looks like you're going to need an E.T. finger to release the mags without taking your finger of the trigger.

With the hammer 7 I can load the last ball, and dump the mag with my middle finger while keeping my index on the trigger.

Edit: why does there appear to be a line running vertically down the middle of the body? there appears to be a hinge in the trigger guard too. does this thing come apart break action style? If it does, why?

The line down the center is probably a casting line from where they molded the plastic body.

I don't see the hinge you mentioned. The trigger frame is appears to be attached to the body via traditional vertical bolts. Maybe you're looking at the pullpin that retains the rear velocity adjuster/plug.

What I'm curious about is whether the front section with the magwell and barrel shroud is a separate piece from the body. If it's not, I don't see an easy way for them to install the detent for the barrel locking mechanism at the factory.

Between the trigger and the mag there's a vertical piece that looks like a trigger guard with a metal pin at the middle/towards the bottom, it looks like an articulation point

It looks like a removable trigger guard? Or that screw holds the body closed around the air line

You're right, the airline does run up behind the mag into the body, which means there must be some way of getting to that fitting? Maybe the mag well does detach?

It's a screw and not a pop rivet, right?
