Even with a squeegee, and even against other players using .50 caliber paint, this thing is a real challenge to use.

Have you tried the nelson .50 cal paint? I've used that with my 3357 to decent effect.

I haven't, but I picked up a fresh bag of Valken while I was down there.

Is there any reason you couldn't use a ball detent to hold the cylinder in instead the pin? I think it'd make for very rapid reloads and help seal the firing port by pushing the two surfaces together. Might need some teflon sheet on that sliding surface, tho. Just a thought.
