What would convince you to play paintball more nowadays

Lots of players play and then quit for awhile when things don't go their way or if the industry changes

Try to keep the thread positive but state what paintball is missing these days or what would convince you to go back into playing paintball. Don't do too much lecturing or preaching to this generation of players, just say what you miss from when you played. Use specifics like what kind of pricing or specifications or features you'd like brought back or introduced to fields/shops etc. but you don't have to mention names of fields/shops but rather places and regional discussion is fine

Think of this as like a fairy tale wish list, pretend you're a kid or teenager again and what the ideal would be to get you back into playing

We have a local pump group that plays once a month. It continues to slowly pull people back in. Posting regular pictures with the turnout from each month and the light hearted trash talk tends to keep people engaged.

we also had our local field up root and move about 15 miles away, new fields and venue has pulled some people back out.

we also regularly post that we have loaner markers and worked with the field to get us a discounted rate for entry/air and paint because of the consistency.

Less electros. I bought my first one last year, used it in a couple of scenario games, and it worked good, but I didn't have much fun with it. I found it made things too serious. People get too worked up when you're dumping so much paint. It takes the fun out of scenarios for new players who can't keep up with ROF and $$$.

I'm going to sell it and go back to playing pump or mech semi. Electro isn't for me. It's too impersonal. No one congratulates you for eliminating them with an electro. I felt like a jerk.

rate of fire caps on electros as the standard at every field. this way NO ONE is outgunned, one less reason to not come back. also lanes can be run through occasionally at a lower bps keeping things more exciting and less certain.

less paint. say a hopper and two pods. doesnt have to be an exact amount. would rather play more games, than fewer games with more paint.

smart rules and reffing. how about two arm bands, must be worn visibly. so annoying when i ask someone what team they are on, they dont reply and begin shooting at me and it turns out they are on my team. not fun! also random chrono pulls would be nice once and a while. we all know some people go back to the staging area and turn up velocity.
