Go try impact, the owner is very involved, they are extremely good with new players (heck they give them a 2 pod pack with the rental gear) you will probably like their western town thing

O! I wish more fields made Urban and QCB areas. Rooms, buildings etc. In the last few years I have really enjoyed it.

And I want to play Wally ball again (long story, Spokane paintball club, must be an indoor field with at least some rooms but one of the best game formats I have ever played)

O cqb would be nice, and just tell me you want it public in the first place and I will shut up.

Also although these things happen rarely there is a problem and I will relay this to John. However I do not think that it warrants not EVER playing there because these problems are not consistent.

Consistent or not doesn't matter, the fact that they happen AT ALL matters. You only have two eyeballs, are you willing to lose one because people only shoot in there parking lot "some of the time"? How about the other one because barrel plugs offer "some" protection? How about losing your voice for a week because you took a ball to the neck that was shot at "around 300"?

I've talked with John and even told him I'm willing to give the field a second chance but only after I hear things have changed. I'm not giving money for a chance to lose an eyeball. Always having to wonder if the refs are actually doing their jobs it's not my idea of fun.

So far, I've still been hearing more negative than positive on the safety aspect. I will say it has improved but not too the point where I feel any legitimate field should hold it's standards

Certain things I can look past or forgive at fields, but safety is not one of them. I get that reffing doesn't pay well, but any time I go to a field and see sloppy refs it makes me wonder what else they're half baked on.

There's a field 30 minutes from my house, but I'd rather play outlaw or drive the 1.5+ hours to play at a field that actually takes care of their business.

Amen. Where I live, there is only one field in a rather large city (Salt Lake) and it is indoor, on the smaller side, over-priced, turf is horrid. They operate a second field, but it's .50 cal/rental only and they charge the same amount for .50 cal as they do .68. And the amount of times I have had to tell people to keep their goggles on, barrel covers on....I should be paid. The refs don't do sh!t. There was one ref in particular who said his reinforced glasses were good enough and didn't have to keep his goggles on. He would just hold them up to his face while games went on, but in between games NOPE. So I have also opted to spend more time traveling to other places where values and safety are taken seriously.

A regulator body/ASA and mounts that turn the Cheap WGP regs into bottomline regs like PPS female stabilizers.
