I don't know of any paintball pistols that are above $350.

Double barrel pumps

Yes I know some essentially one offs are made. I just wish some mainstream company would have the balls to do something interesting for a change

A launcher than can fire footballs

How about a built from the factory FS round sniper setup

I would like a streamlined teeny tiny pump. Something like a phantom with high-impact plastic components and an in-grip regulator like modern guns. Thumpers were pretty close to exactly what I wanted, but we all know the jankiness is real

It's not what you're talking about, but it's tiny.

I saw that thing earlier! Wicked cool, but I couldn't imagine trying to use it in-game... do you hip shoot it or?

I mostly just share pictures of it then link the words I use back to the build thread about it.

I originally found it searching for micro phantoms, probably even before joining the site. However, I cannot take credit for the build, just the promotion of it as a wicked concept.

I wish we could buy it ready made.

And you can buy real steel for sub-$300. I agree with him. High performance pistol setups are expensive unless you scour the used market.

I'm sorry guys, I'm going to a little Canadian on ya. It's not that paintball markers are expensive, it's that firearms are extremely inexpensive.

Think of the economies of scale involved, the $0.50 of every US tax dollar going to military spending (surplus weapons and ammo), add Russian, Chinese, and other government buying and selling of arms. The planet is flooded with firearms to such an extent, that a real pistol is the same or cheaper than it's small batch limited run nonlethal counterpart.

Still, shooting one's good friends and being able to have a laugh about it afterwards is worth the price of admission. To me anyways.

Hmm. Maybe the paintball industry just needs to find some of that government contract money. Because, you know, training, or whatever. Maybe we're on to something here.... FREE PAINTBALL FOR EVERYONE! That's what I wish they made. LOL.
