you can thank my boss for that. I tried to get him to buy it for our museum but someone else kept matching us. I think we pushed it up to $350 or so before we gave up.

I cannot justify collecting guns for myself. I have, however, been able to live vicariously through the store museum I help curate. All sorts of the guns I've wanted but couldn't justify owning myself have made their way into the collection, including shoebox shockers, an early matrix, a rainmaker, Omen, square back blocked cocker, etc. One of these days I need to take some pics.

I collect more than I'd like to admit. I have a problem passing on beaten up/old/scratched cockers. Something about refurbishing them to at least working condition brings me immense joy. (i.e. PMS Mark II, FBM Cobra project, HEX).

My second weakness is beautiful milling jobs that I wanted but could never afford (i.e. 2k5 Dragon, System X NME).

My third weakness is weird stuff (ACI Blind Rage 2.0, Cut Down Pro-Carbine Rental)

There is a reason my CC thread is named shiny things and money pits.

I think for most here, myself included, I'd use the term "collect" loosely. It's more like hoarding.
My collecting comes mostly from finding deals. There's a few guns I've actively searched for but generally it's impulse buys. Then I can't bring myself to let them go.

The problem is, I’ve sold and regretted so many, that now I don’t sell in an attempt to avoid the regret.
The problem is, I’m not one of those guys that don’t have endless income for paintball, so the way id justify buying a new marker is by selling an old.

This new system of avoiding sellers remorse is that now i have way too much money sitting on a wall and I am, at best, scatterbrained when it comes to hobbies.

Trust me though, I consider selling everything, buying a couple of solid set ups and then investing in real life stuff. Like, I don’t know, my ****ing home. ****in’ paintball...

bit of both. pimps and trilogy sfs come up for $100 all the time. Revenges and Merlins go the other way.

Got a pair of wgp mg7s for like $40...and they shoot great!
