I spoke briefly about this in post #4. I haven't set the price yet; I want to have everything in hand before I do.

My first prototype design actually had a feature very similar to what you've described. However, the problem with that is that the bolt would stick out too much (viewed from the top/breech) when pulled back, thereby interfering with FSR loading.

I'm not too familiar with HammerHead barrel threading as I don't own one, but if there's continued demand for these kits, I'll probably make a finless version down the line.

You can play. Maybe not well. You'll fit in fine.

I submitted a slightly-revised design utilizing a lock-ring to the machinist a couple of days ago. The only issue is if there is enough clearance between the body and adapter for the lock-ring... but once he gives the o.k., then it shouldn't be too long a wait.

There will be 25 sets made.

I just wanted to update everyone: With the recent storms, my machinist lost power to his shop and fell behind with jobs that he had pending, so I'm still waiting for the first batch of conversion kits. Hopefully, there won't be any more delays.

I'll keep you guys updated with any changes. Thanks for your patience.

UPDATE: This project is still alive!

I received some samples of the new design. It just needs some very minor tweaking, but on the whole, the kit works quite well.

I'm very interested in a phantom adaptor! Keep it simple a/c threaded will be fine! Some people may not want a HH threaded one , of course that interest me !
