I dunno man, I totally get why people buy them. Symmetrical AWD is a completely different experience, especially if you live in a northern region. But I was paying Audi level maintenance on a car with a 90s Kia level interior. Just didn't work for me.

If we're talking STIs, it's a different story. Sure, the interiors are lack-luster, and the maintenance is high, but it's a performance car with LSDs and the expectation that it's gonna be pricey to drive. You pay to have fun.

I'm just over it. I'm on the Toyota train now.

I've had a 2013 Honda Fit Sport since new. It is a lot of fun to drive, is extremely practical, gets good mileage, and has been bulletproof, maintenance-wise. I highly recommend it.

If you're looking for something a bit more sporty, and with a stick, I echo what other's have said: You're looking for a Mazda 3 hatch.

You really can't beat Toyota reliability man. My first 2 cars were Toyotas and they were phenomenal. I love my Subies, but they are not nearly as practical.

Is your Fit manual or auto? Honestly looking at all the utility of a Fit AND the price tag I'm really leaning towards one. A lot of my decision will hinge on the price tag to be honest. For example if the Fit is significantly cheaper with all the options I want I am going to go with that. Trying to reduce my debt as much as possible before my wife gets her doctorate.

Yeah seriously aren't McLarens like hundreds of thousands of dollars? Holy crap
