Oh, I intend to.
Assuming I catch the actual eye instead of staying in the more painful rim of it.

**Phone blares warnings every 5 min**

I F***ing get it phone! S*** is about to hit the fan!

Seriously though stay safe, that cane is going to rip up the Tampa/Brandon area and I imagine the eyes walls move quicker than one would think they would.

Already had to go outside to dig a trench so the water doesn't just sit next to my house in a puddle. The I found out one of my newly installed gutters is already clogged.

I fully prepared for this storm years ago, by not living in Florida.

Who's laughing now?!?

Bah. Caught some kind of weird staggered eyewall instead of the proper eye, and at midnight to two in the morning.
Hard to light a cigar in that.

My brother lives near Ft. Myers. He had to evacuate two days after I was able to return home from Harvey. He actually still has power after Irma came through.

My Sister in Ft. Myers did ok. Lost part of the roof on the shed and have no power, but everyone is fine. Sadly, no alligators for the grill, but lots of fish swam across the yard.

I have power and just lost the fence. Parents on the space coast have no power or water and wifes sister has water damage in the master bedroom. Friend had a tornado touch down near their house but no damage.

All seems well on my end, back hurts from the cleanup.

I live in Tampa Bay. The storm downgraded to a 1 just before it hit and glad it did because it still did heavy damage. I am unable to get to my house at the road is covered with fallen oak trees and down power lines on my car.
