The issues with his company aside, I’d just like to point out that he clearly didn’t inhale. Dude’s shares dropped 6% because he mouth puffed a spliff.

That's cause he holds all the balls of the company. He needs a 2nd in command so when he talks all nutty, #2 can stare at you with concrete confidence and keep those stock prices up.

I'm looking forward to the latest hit film involving a bunch of artists with zero technical training lost in space.

Exactly. I have to assume SpaceX is going to send a technical crew to bandaid things if/when it goes sideways. Musk even said they are planning to send extra supplies, just in case they have to fix something. I can't imagine an uplifting song and some paper mache will be adequate to pass re-entry.

I'd just suggest that they not being Matt Damon, even if he is technically an artist. That guy *always* gets stranded and needs to be rescued.

It will be interesting for sure. This is like the rich redneck club. Even if you had the money, you wonder if you would be "doing that" while everyone comes to watch.

That's part of why it's so cool that the first flight will have a bunch of artists. Sure, some may be famous and we'll off, but they damn sure won't be in the billionaire's club, and would not be able to book a passage like this on their own.

Maybe that's why is stands out in my head; I'm expecting to be able to grumble about how the mega wealthy are stealing my space dreams, but this guy went and did something kind of noble.
