What my PCP told me today:

I should really go to a Pain Clinic, and get on the "hard stuff" for my pain.

I should stop working.

He said "Jeff, you are broken beyond repair, it's time to hang it up".

He even said this in front of my wife.

Upon returning home, I did a load of dishes, 4 loads of laundry, trash and recycling.

All the while, my wife and kids watched TV, looked at their phones, played video games and stuffed their faces.

They all have a great understanding of Ankylosing Spondylitis and how it affects their Father/Husband.

Can anyone get me enough of something that will let me go in my sleep?

PM me.

Time to see a new PCP, because it sounds like yours is a right proper dick.

If you need to talk, please PM me. Constant pain can be crippling and receiving feedback like that can be heartbreaking. Know that people care about you and want to help you, even if they have trouble showing it sometimes.

Go to a pain management doctor. They'll know way more.

I went from narcotics to simple procedures that have me back to 80% from maybe 20%.

Please forgive my ignorance, but is medical marijuana legal in MA? I ask because I work for an oncology practice where several patients there use it to help with their cancer symptoms. From what I understand, it really seems to help them with pain management. They're not lighting up but rather resorting to edibles.

My wife stopped taking opioid pain medication, after ten years, for medical marijuana. For her, it works better than the opioids and doesn't come with the addiction/overdose risks of things like morphine and their ilk. She couldn't be happier about the positive impact it has made. She tried vaping, drops, edibles, and smoking it. The latter is her preference, at least when we are at home.

Here is to hoping that it is at least decriminalized across the board for at least medical usage, so that it can be deducted on taxes, if not picked up by insurance companies!

Ditch your doctor and see a specialist. Also learn to yell at your family to do things it works for my family.

I know our interactions were brief however I still laugh at the tracking history on the Javelin barrel I bought from you. Then opening up nice single malt scoth box as the shipping container in front of my parrents was icing on the cake. I hope the grass gets greener for you my friend and that this brought a small smile to you as well.

You can play. Maybe not well. You'll fit in fine.
