Nemesis length for LP markers

How does the math work for the Nemesis on low-pressure semis? The MG100 is supposed to be crazy low pressure, and I'd like to get some idea if longer or shorter barrel will take advantage of what I assume will be a fairly long dwell? What length Nemesis has worked best on a Dye DAM (which I assume is also a low-pressure, long dwell kind of set up)?
Thanks everybody,
w

SAR is low pressure/high dwell and they stand by the 20" barrel for accuracy, however I have not seen anything near what I would consider enough raw data to back that up. I doubt you would notice the difference between a 14" and a 20" except at the extreme limits of range.

Thanks, Jay - just needed a rough rule of thumb. I knew I came to the right place

I can tell you now, that David directly said that a 10/13 or 12/15 works great for an EMEK. The 20" from an EFFICIENCY stand point didn't add much if anything.

(Note: efficiency is different to consistency or accuracy. I have no info on that)

So will a fast semi show signs of shootdown thru a tight barrel with long dwell? i.e the second ball stealing air flow/pressure from the first ball still in the barrel and then possibly the friction on the first round as it gets to the end of the barrel with less pressure?
prolly a dumb question, but....

I don't think so. Ball would already be out of the barrel by the time you pulled the trigger a second time.

A 14in nemmy on my hurricane is extremely accurate.

I have a 14 Nemesis on my M17A2 and I was shooting and hitting a 1ft. square of foam at 70 yds. with hits bare eye. I had some at Supergame last yr out to 80 yds with a scope. I'm not sure what the working pressure is but I was very happy with kill ratio. I'm looking to add a Supremacy scope this yr.

Are we talking rifled barrels or not?

Nemesis is a reversed rifle, so rather than the find going into the grooves in the barrel.. it is effectively a smooth bore spiralled raised lines that dig/cut into the FSR and make it rotate.

So yes... rifled, but in a different way to normal.

Nemesis is a spline drive rifled barrel - as opposed to a traditional land groove rifled barrel

TL;DR hole size controls how fast balls get spent
