Nikon D3400

I have a older Canon DSLR that I don't use that much anymore and have been thinking of updating to something newer. I want to go back to Nikon so am wondering if anyone out there has a D3400, D5600 or the D7200 and what you think of them. Anything you like or dislike?

first of all what type of photography will you and her be doing since each model is set for style of shooting. 7200 is great low light mode also has deal get 2 great lens for $999.95 from them you find can do more then d3000 series. also d5000 series will do way more then d3000 series model too. also with d7000 series you get about over 150,000 shutter count life come pair to just over 100,000 shutter count life. if want more help on this do what i do go to site i linked. since will tell get 5600 or 7200 series. i have d5300 and at limit to what it need since find out need more low light help when taking picture. also fact i do sports pictures d5000 is limiting to what i can do where d7200 give low light i need at cost of frame per second. so found out will have to look at d500 series or one of d800 series models. also do want to pick your lens or get camera body that comes with lenses. if so get one bundle deals the have for this year x-mas sells.

I have a d7100, It is an amazing camera.

Im not a fan of the 3000 or 5000 series cameras as they have that rotating screen. Over the years those screens short or break and the only replacement requires you to send it into Nikon or buy a new camera. I dont use the live view all that much so its not a necessary thing to have my screen move.

I would go 7200 or 7500 as they have the motor drives to run older lenses (pre digital) and still have the autofocus work on them. Thats a big help on lens cost...specially when there are older lenses that you may like more than newer lenses

do not get 7500 its down grade of d500. so if have to choice get 7200 for low light or get d500 for frame rate per second. most people do not know the d7500 is down grade of d500 with some same stuff.
