Who the heck is RTP?

I've seen these guns floating around sales threads but know absolutely nothing about them. Now that they have their own section I have a good place to put my inquiry.

History? value? still being made? etc.
any and all contributions are welcome

I would be more specific but I honestly have no idea what to ask...

RTP stand for Rick the Prick.

Some of the information that i know of are:

He was a member of team Viper
Team Viper still play today but not in tournament, they usually play against walk on using vipers.
Rick use to make both Viper and Intimidator.

Intimidator are Sheridan based gun with the top barrel taken off and a new barrel made of stainless steel solder back on.

Viper are full custom stainless steel gun.

Rick came out of retirement recently due to demand and start making guns again, cost are approximately $450 for intimidator and $1000 for viper.

He also make One Arm bandit (a pvc based hopper) that look nice on a viper/intimidator however I do have some feedback on his first run so it may delay it a little bit.

Rick also use to own a paintball shop in La Mesa, San Diego County many years ago, they were featured in paintball magazines and ads.

Ironchef and brassball probably have more information to add, Ironchef have somewhere along the line of 7 different RTP guns + 1 that he is making himself.

I guess this is a good place to ask this question.

Why use stainless steel?

Probably easier to get a reasonable ID stock.
