With the way Tippmanns are chrono'd, you won't see any difference with efficiency. Unless you have an RVA, it'll use the same amount of air per shot regardless of what velocity you're shooting.

He's not wrong, and it's not hype. With 2 piece barrels, one can fit the barrel inside a small gun case, whereas a 1 piece barrel requires its own, much larger case. I know most MCB players show up...

Yeah I had the same problem a few years ago. Flatline caused massive decrease in velocity. Had no idea how to fix it, so I just ditched the flatline. Think I actually threw it away.

Start out by replacing every single o-ring in the thing. Pretty I lubed mine with either DYE Slick lube or Exalt Vitamin G. Any sort of lightweight, DOW 33 type grease will work.
