Not all speed demon bolts are velocity adjustable. The early versions definitely were not.

My bolt doesn't have a velocity adjuster, is what it is.

Today I got around to more polishing, particularly the bolt which looked like it had stormed the beaches of normandy. I also finished the detent. No double feeds and it doesn't effect the pump stroke at all!
Pump stroke is significantly smoother and easier now, previously I was concerned about being able to use it all day as one hopper full of paint had my arm hurting. (I'm STILL recovering from an injury last year)

I'll post pictures tomorrow, and if I can find the damn screw for my go pro I'll try to post a video

Nice touch adding the ball detent. Those wedgits were hammered in pretty conservatively for the Graffiti I was shooting at the time. Anything smaller and velocity went to hell (like throwing a hot dog down a hallway). It looks like you did a real nice job polishing it up too. You're right about the pump stroke on these old guns though. The last time I played with it was up at EMR for the Blackbeard game - which also happens to be the same weekend I found out about my rotator cuff injury. I'm pretty sure that had a lot to do with my decision to let it find a new home.

Sorry I haven't posted in a little bit, been pretty busy round here.
I gotta give a shout out to Snaparen for the safety balls/spring! Got the safety fixed now

I haven't messed with the marker much. I did play with her for 1 game, but didn't paint any faces with her. Lots of electros that day, so I didn't wanna be too outgunned.
Was shooting about 220 on hpa, and 260 on co2. Mario at Nitro let me use a co2 tank to keep the old gal competitive. I still intend on getting the velocity up on hpa though.

Right now I've got it torn apart to paint the trigger frame. Not changing the color, just trying to fix the paint chips. However I can't get the trigger out, any tips for this? Everything is removed except the safety and trigger.

Jon I'm still recovering from a motorcycle accident last year, besides the fact I was a scrawny **** before I got hurt lol so I feel your pain with pumping this thing. I bought a case of something new the last time I played hoping it'd be larger. Nope, actually smaller lol I need to unload this case and I'll try graffiti. One of the regulars at Nitro had his pgp out there, he said he orders larger balls intended for pumps. Got a friend that also specifically orders larger balls for his milsim set up. I might have to follow them. Other than the .675 insert for my other pump everything uses a .686+ barrel.

And thanks again Snaparen!

you have to pull the safety out so the trigger can slide back a little then it will come out.
