Milling dovetail on Ion

Has anyone milled a dovetail on the bottom of the Ion frame? Is the metal of the frame strong enough to support a tank after being milled?

I have an inline LP max flo that I'd like to use on a project Ion rifle so I could negate the use of a second regulator.
I'm looking for a pump - Have Up'd Ion for trade - PM ME

When I go golfing I bring two pair of paints in case I get a hole in one.

Shouldn't be an issue at all.

Actually the stock frame is very soft.I've "milled" it very easily with a dremmel bit on a drill press.I don't know that a dovetail would last
I've done a few Relay conversions, they haven't snapped yet but I run them with small bottles or on a remote line
If you can find a NDZ(Scorpion) frame they have a premilled dovetail,it's even very close the the Relays dovetail but haven't confirmed this by measuring
I'm not THAT Punisher!!
If a Dremmel had t*ts Id marry one!
My feedback
