Want no NEED a pro-comp kit v3
anyone know where i can get my hands on a pro-comp kit v3 its time for a mojor overhaul on my exc-68
ok i have looked everywhere checked every site i could find called every phone that would ring i'm now dow to 2 options
1. find someone who can make one
2. hire a clan of ninjas to steal me one ( they don't work as cheep as they did back in the 80s used to be i could get them to do anything for a case of JOLT Cola
so any help you gods of the vm could give me would be great.. sites to check? people to phone stalk? someone to trade for my first born(he's 9)??
Contact Ron Asp at Action Sports Paintball. He has the largest VM stock left of anyone I know. They have a Ebay site.
ok thanks i'll give it a try
Try Dan Bacci. Guy has everything.
The V.3 kit does not show up often...Good luck, you might be better off having someone make you a similar kit
Someone made a kit a long time ago called the Assassin kit which was similar...the website is no longer but if you use the Wayback Machine you can still access the info https://web.archive.org/web/200304121...com/Paintball/
Original website was https://www.rightquickmarch.com/Paintball/
thanks again guys ive got messages out to about 8 diff airsmiths waiting for replys
but more ideas are always welcome
Its one thing to spend a huge amount of time and money on tracking down some 18 year old piece of vintage aftermarket parts, for nostalgia value.
But what problems are you having? Not recocking? Low FPS? Chopping paint? Ineffecient? trigger skipping? leaks? stripped screws? Corkscrews?
Old guns are like old cars. When you have problems, people tend to throw parts at it hoping it will get fixed. Fortunetly, for the VM68, there is still a ton of N/OS parts floating around that you can fix most problems.
PTP has a good supply of parts. Plus Ron-ASP on ebay. Lots of airsmiths were making parts, like Chris Mader, and others, but they have all moved on.
ok so far all the airsmiths that have gotten back to me say they can't make one from a pic so if anyone has the specs or knows where i can find them that might help or even someone willing to send one to an airsmith to copy and when i find the guy to get it done ill let you all know i'm sure he'll get a few jobs out of it
My pro-comp kit v3 modified VM-68 still works.
