WTB Tippmann SL-68II

Does anyone have one? I'm looking to get back into the sport, and have had good experiences with the Tippmann brand in the past.

I don't care about the looks as long as its works and has been maintained regularly. If it's old style, I'd like a hopper adapter. Front sight intact a plus.

I have one if you're still interested. It's been tweaked to work on constant air if that helps.

Does the SL-68 II have issues with HPA? I read somewhere that it was designed for liquid CO2.

I run mine on HPA with no problems. You may need to add a spacer to the main spring or use a higher output regulator. I added a series or o-ring spacers and made some minor modifications to the power tube to improve airflow. It is shooting about 320 when wide open now. I can throttle it back to 275 with the adjusting screw in the bolt and still have room left in the adjustments.

I run mine on CO2 but if you have an HPA tank with a high enough output (I don't remember how high but you can search it.) it should be able to chrono at 300ish from what I have read.

According to the Tippmann tech a corresponded with the valve is designed with CO2 in mind.

Sadly mine has a cracked feedneck too.

But yeah, I have a high output tank for it, as well as I had a shop do some internal mods to improve velocity control and overall performance.

vf-xx, is it one of those 800psi output tanks? Like the Ninja ones?
