I really thought you ere serious up until i read your 'problems'. You post makes me feel even more confident about my purchase, which should be here in about a week.

Nice post and thanks for the reassurance!

You totally won't be disappointed with your phantom. One thing I've found with new phantom owners though, is it can be hard to get used to the way they feel, especially VSC's and aiming over the SC tube. I was on my second phantom before I got comfortable with it and now I don't shoot anything else.

Oh and I forgot to mention the "crappiest" of my phantoms, my vintage unibody. That gun is so scary accurate in the woods that it feels unfair. As much as my VSC is a terror on the speedball field, that old black unibody with the little brass front post is unholy in the woods. Once just before a game (goggles on of course) I snapped off a quick shot at my buddy on the opposite team at the opposite end of our 200 foot field for a joke. A second after I shot he starts yelling curses at me because that shot hit him in the top of the head.

Most of the guys at the field laugh at me and tell me to put the "toy" away and get out the marker I am going to play the game with.

Well, my phantom came today, I think it 'sucks'.

The thing is awesome. Perfectly balanced with bba 3.5 oz co2 tank. Now I just have to wait 10 days before I can shoot it...gonna seem like ten years...

I got a phantom end of the summer and it sucks came out of the box shooting 270 hits everything i aim at so theres no buying lots of paint to get cool colors no more fixing guns so i never get to rest and its so light my arm never get tired what the hell this gun should be banned form the sport.
