there is.. I was going to do something similar except threading press fitting feeds for ion or angle threaded feednecks..

people on this forum are already doing their own conversions in 4jaw chucks, and by removing the stock ones and turning them down..

Was thinking about turning up some inserts to press in so there is no need to turn the stock one. Wanted to know if they might sell.

I think they probably would..

but your stealin my thunda!!!
what I was concerned about was the difference between bodies.. I don't think they would be the same size universally for all cocker bodies.. a 2k5 superstock body would probably take a different one then a 2k1, or pre2k body..

so I was thinking it may come down to being a service instead of a product.. Especially if the press fitting when removed takes out some of the alum.. (which they do) from the body.. then you wont be able to get a nice fit unless you mic the body also..

know what I mean?

We could co-op on this project if you want.. It'd be sort of cool, and I've been rolling the idea around for a while..

What kind of co-op are you thinking.

ehh, I dunno thought share.. how well equipped are you? I can draft and have access to a romedial machine shop.. no cnc, and have a small metal lathe, but can draft and spend most of my free time, (and some of my not free time) thinking up things that could make life easier in the paintball world..

I think maybe we should talk about this in pm's though..

I also have a few gun designs that have basically been proven.. just need to be made.

Ive never seen metal removed when I take out a pressed in feedneck.

This would work assuming all WGP pressed in necks are the same, which I would assume they are.

Almost every neck I have done, I have milled the sight rail off, so I have to shorten the pressed in part.

I dont see a big demand for these, but I would imagine 20-30 would be a good run.

yeah, but the ones you have done, you have had in hand.. and like you said.. you did some mill work, I think the rail would be the only real issue and variable.. other than that it should be a really easy make too.. I was sort of wondering how you would make sure it didn't protrude a bit into the top tube.. maybe make a drift thats bore size, and just put it in while you are pressing down on the feedneck insert? That seems like it would have to be fairly accurate..

I cut enough material away thats its impossible to press it in too far. I bottom out before the bottom part would protrude into the breech.

My advice would be to do it to a certain spec, the state "you need x amount of material left or you will protrude..."
